I found this interesting video on copyright and it is well worth watching. As I am in the flow I am going to just blatantly copy part of the text underneath the video:

Harvard professor Larry Lessig is an authority on copyright issues, with a vision for reconciling creative freedom with marketplace competition.

He cites John Philip Sousa, celestial copyrights and the “ASCAP cartel” in his argument for reviving our creative culture.

It is about time to rethink copyright!
